Today is "Altweiberfasching".
This means "Old womens carnival" and here in Germany women (even the younger ones) cut your cravats tie off.

So there are two possble kind of behaviours.
- Do not wear any cravat tie today.
- Stand by your tastefulness and wear the cravat tie you bought yourself.

Nasty Jam: Hey Mama!!

Black Eyed Peas

After arriving at home I went straight to the Black Eyed Peas concert in Offenbach.
Offenbach is a city near from home with a pretty bad reputation, but that has no meaning since it is also the city where I was born.
And there was a very long queue to enter the hall.

A great surprise was to see "Das Bo" as the supporting act.
Das Bo is a famous german Rapper from Hamburg and recently performed a show on MTV called "Pimp my Fahrrad" ("Pimp my bycicle"), a very economic parody on "Pimp my Ride".
The most known song of him is "Mehr Bass" (More base).
He did a nice performance but was not able to really warm up the crowd.

The Black Eyed Peas are simply a great live act!!!
Although "Hey Mama" is one of the more famous songs it was surely not the best song of the night.
Fergie makes great moves and the band knows how to build a connection with the audience.
The last song was "Let´s get it started" and the crowd was not running but jumping 8-)

To make a long story short:
Well, I am not earth biggest fan of Black Eyed Peas now (although I bought a merchandise-baseballcap) but live gigs in small locations will be surely visited more often this year by me 8-)
